A new hack was released that restores the original color of the SNES version of Final Fantasy VI to the newer GBA version. Final fantasy vi gba snes comparison. This will make playing the game on newer handhelds or displays that have a backlight more visually pleasing.Before and After pics-Coupling together both the color and sound restoration hacks now available, the GBA port is effectively the ideal version to play. The game no longer suffers from the washed out palette given to the port.
