The arctic-dwelling winter wolf is as large as a dire wolf but has snow-white fur and pale blue eyes. Frost giants use these evil creatures as guards and hunting companions, putting the wolves’ deadly breath weapon to use against their foes. Winter wolves communicate with one another using growls and barks, but they speak Common and Giant well enough to follow simple conversations. Snow Bear Armor is an armor set added by the mod Morrowind Armor Compilation. The set is also included in the mod Immersive Armors. CLOSING REMARKSX. LEGAL INFORMATIONI.!!!VERY IMPORTANT!!!.I know I will get e-mails about this, so let me clarify. I know that the ArmorRating is different depending on your Light Armor, Medium Armor, and HeavyArmor abilities, but when I recorded each of these, my Light, Medium, and HeavyArmor skills were all at 50. I used 50 because it is in the middle. If you wantto know what the armor would be at if your skills were at 100, simply doublethe Armor Rating. This means that when you start a new game, your skills won'tbe very high, so the Armor Rating may be lower, but you can use this FAQ tocompare them to the other armor you have to figure out whether or not it isbetter than what you have.

Morrowind

Also, If your Light Armor is really high, but yourHeavy Armor is really low, it will appear that all Light Armor in the game isreally good, while all Heavy Armor is really bad. This is not the case. If yousee a piece of Heavy Armor that you want, in order to make it better, simplypay someone to train your Heavy Armor skill (Or just wear it a whole lot). Thelocations of the trainers are listed on other FAQ's, so I feel no need to putthem here. The location of each armor may be slightly different for you, as many trader'sin the game have somewhat random inventory, but it is only slightly random.Generally, if I say that someone has a specific piece of armor, they may notalways carry every single piece of armor from that set.

They may be missing afew pieces. Meaning, if you see that 'so-and-so' carries the Chitin TowerShield, but you don't see it in his inventory, just leave and come back. Also, I don't have the location for every armor because I added it as an afterthought. I realized that it would be helpful to know where to buy or find them,so don't complain that I didn't complete this guide, because I didn't intend onputting the locations in at all.II. For the lazy people, it is smt512@yahoo.com. Also, ifthere is anything that is mentioned a lot on the message boards about armorthat you think I should mention, tell me. If you have suggestions for anythingI should add, like enchanted and unique armor, I may not do it, but if enoughpeople tell me to, there's a possibility. Don't be afraid to send me an email, just don't you DARE send me spam.IV. ARMOR LISTI have listed each and every unenchanted piece of armor that I could find inMorrowind and the Expansions. This is how they are set up:1. Name of the armor: Self-explanatory.

I tried to write each one exactly howit appears in the game to help out with using 'Find' (Control - F).2. Armor Rating: The defensive value of the armor.3.

Morrowind Best Armor

Condition: This represents how long the armor lasts until it breaks (well,it doesn't break, but as the Condition goes down, the defense of the armor goesdown, and when it reaches 0, you can't equip it again until you repair it). Also, if the Condition is lower, you sell it for less.4. Weight: In the menu, above your picture is a number, and that is how muchweight you can carry. You can carry more weight as your Strength goes up.5.

Morrowind Light Armor

Value: How much the armor is worth. You buy it at this price and you usuallycan't sell something for the value price. You can buy things for less and sellthem for more if the person you are selling it to has a high disposition (howmuch they like you).6. Enchantment: The amount of enchantment each armor can hold. The higher theenchantment points, the more you can enchant it with. The values I have listedare directly from the TESCS, so the values are ten times what they appear as inthe game.

I will change the values to exactly what they appear as in the gamewhen I have more time. Thanks to watlemeron for pointing that out.7. Location: Where you can find the armor.

Which mod exactly is 'that mod'? There are lots of mods that add mannequins and lots of kinds of mannequin.Go into the construction set and find the identity of a mannequin then add it via the console. In data files you need only check the mod that adds them.

I have a feeling the mannequins may appear as npcs but I've never checked to see so that might be wrong. If you don't like cheating you can disable it afterwards. You should also be able to find out in the CS where to find them. It's hard to tell you what they look like. The most often seen kind are wooden 'men'.

But you can get mannequins that resemble the different races 'live' (mental elf's mannequins), in various kinds of material (house of mannequins) and also 'invisible' so the armour seems to hang in the air (also HOM). There are other kinds too.Hope this helps. I have told you what you need to do. Open TCS, when it opens click data files and the list of mods etc will appear.

Put a cross in the box beside armor mannequin esp and click done. Wait, agreeing to any intervening box that pops up. When it is finished there will be a clist of game item types across the top. Click NPCs and scroll down to 'manikin' (that is the spelling used). There are 21 listed, the first is unnnumbered, the others are 1-20, Highlight each one in turn and right click, check 'info' on the box that appears and it will tell you where the mannequin is. IIRC chris janossi was the first to create them and they are the original wooden ones. I checked a couple for you, in order 0-2, Arille's Tradehouse Seyda Neen, Ald Ruhn Guard Tower 1 and Nerano Manor Balmora.

If you want any more I'm afraid you'll have to do it yourself.Service with a smile!. Okay, I have been there, I know the feeling! To open the console you press the key above the tab key (left of number 1 on most keyboards). A largish box opens called 'console'. Position the mouse above the object you are interested in so the name shows up in the usual small box on screen.

Left click with the mouse. Where it said 'console' before it now gives you the ID of the object. It can be quite long e.g.

Everything in the game including the landscape can be identified this way. Obviously its main use is in constructing mods but it can help - if you have lost an essential item through carelessness, you can add it back; if you kill someone by accident you can click on the corpse and type resurrect. (For certain characters this does not stop them being 'dead' as far as other NPCs are concerned but for most accidental killings it works). Also you can use it if a door is blocked by a corpse. This often happens with the netch in the daedric quest for Malacath.

Two netch corpses are spawned that block the entrance to the cave of Shurinbaal and they cannot be disposed of. When they are selected in the console type 'disable' and they are gone.As for how many mannequins you want it depends on the type of player you are.

Some people collect every different piece of armour in the game and want to show them. There are some 26 standard full sets and 27 with bits and pieces. This does not include unique or enchanted armour pieces either (except the full sets of snow bear and snow wolf in Bloodmoon). You can lay them out on tables, put them in chests, even have display cases if you download the mod or you can dress them on the mannequins. If you want discussions on your English I'm happy for you to send me a PM or talk on MSN. (It it is not directly of interest to other forum members.) I find your English perfectly clear and understandable and that is what counts.

It's better than some native speakers we've had posting here in the past.
