It has poor ROM support outside of these games. I'm only sharing. Thanks and enjoy the best way to play GE & PD!So far I feel that the best video plugin to use is GlideN64. My GlideN64 settings are 1920x1080, 144 Hz, Overscan enabled (top/bottom set to 12, left/right set to 1), 8X MSAA, 16X AF, Frame buffer swap on: VI origin change. I am using a G-Sync monitor.
The README says it can cause instability, but so far I haven't had a single issue using this emulator with G-Sync. This update is a substantial improvement.-ORIGINAL DESCRIPTIONThis is a pre-configured Nintendo 64 emulator called 1964 for GoldenEye 007 and Perfect Dark to play them at 60 fps with keyboard & mouse. I take ZERO credit for it.
I only made the video to show it off. With this setup, you can play the game like you've never played it before!
Just a warning - the emulation is not perfect, therefore, you will see graphical glitches in a few levels (just minor ones that don't affect gameplay, but can be slightly annoying). I used Nvidia Inspector to crank up the anti-aliasing to 8X SGSSAA, which is essentially 8K resolution downscaled to 1080p. The results are far clearer textures and smooth edges.Emulator Download (ROMs not included):-Basic instructions to get it working-Download the emulator (above), set the emulator's video settings to any widescreen resolution of your choice, get the GoldenEye ROM (US version) from somewhere, run it, open the mouse injector.exe, press 4 to toggle on/off mouse, get in-game and pause it, scroll to the control settings and use '1.2', scroll to the video settings and use 16:9 aspect ratio, then adjust your mouse sensitivity & settings to your liking via the mouse injector. When you're done with that, I recommend making a save state to save time and effort for next time.
Btw, you'll need to rely on save states to save your game progress. This emulator doesn't make saves on its own! That should be all.

This game started the whole FPS craze (although, it beats the pants off of modern day shooters) and gave companies something to match.You play the agent 007 (James Bond) and shoot your way through several levels while completing various objectives. I'd go more into depth with the story, but I didn't pay attention to it as I was too busy having fun.I couldn't get this game working on Project 64 for whatever reason (the lag was incredible), but I did get it to run quite well on 1964.4/5.
