When I install mods (e.g. The overncumbered mod), a small pop up about RedEngine compiling scripts comes up. The, a box full of script compilation errors comes up, and I cannot start the game. To actually play the game again, I must completely erase every Witcher 3. Installing Witcher 3 mods? (self.witcher) submitted 3 years ago by Braggadouchio. Hey guys, I'm having some trouble figuring out how to install the Brutal & Realistic Combat Mod. I downloaded the game through GOG Galaxy but I have no clue where to place the mod files. Can anyone help me out?

Hey all, I was having trouble too but then noticed in the video that after the guy extracts the folder into the 'mods' folder he checked that folder to make sure that 'content' folder was the next folder in line. It should look like this '.Witcher 3modssomeModcontent', in my case I had '.Witcher 3modssomeModv1.1someModcontent' which did NOT work.Long story short, after extracting your mod, open up that mod folder and navigate to the folder JUST above content and copy that over that folder (the folder that contains the content folder).

Woah, I get people being cheap occasionally, but did you have to be an entitled, self righteous ass about it?CD Projekt Red (and other video game companies) do not exist to provide you with free entertainment. Those companies exist of real, regular people who are putting food on the table by taking home a salary every month. And you know where that salary comes from? From people buying the game they made.No buying games; no money to developers; companies shut down; no more video games. If you're pirating modern games like this, then it seems really ironic for you to call other people trash. We all have to provide instructions in the same format? There are already written instructions out there.

This is just another way. You find it takes too much time to watch a video for something like this, just like I do?

Don't watch, read it someplace else. But if the video IS your favorite, best way to get the info, well then, how nice it is that somebody made one. No effort lost on your part except that you took the time to poke at the nice person doing a service for those different from yourself.

Seems like a waste of time to me to even comment on it. Not for me, since I am perhaps preventing other people from falling into this logic trap and that gives me some satisfaction (though it diminishes the longer I spend on this).Anyway, thanks for the video.

I'm disappointed no popcorn was provided with the vide, but unlike Moodwaffle, I know that beggars can't be choosers-especially when I can just go to the kitchen and get my own popcorn or find my own written instructions about modding the Witcher. In my personal opinion if you have the time to make a video you have the time to type up a guide, no excuse for laziness and half-assery, if you plan on making a guide the make a guide, if you just plan on making a video you shouldn't call it a guide, most importantly you should think about the people who might be dealing with limit data for their internet or might not have the time to watch a video and can, and do, understand a written guide. Thank you to Exxonic for just typing up the simple guide for me.
