Close any other applications you have open. If you have more than 2 GB of RAM, use the extended memory executable for FL. Make sure you are using ASIO drivers. Also, enabling smart disable may help (under Tools, Macros). It also does this when i try and export.very horrifying after spending a few hours on a songanybody know how to fix this? What does the 10 second point coincide with?literally anything, like i played a kick drum, and it went like EERERERER. While the not responding thing came up.my export only comes up to 7%, then same thing happens.also, it only is happening in 1 project file. Excessive number of CPU guzzling plugin effects/instruments, too many programs open at once, bad sound card, weak computer (such as netbook or cheap laptop), or some error that causes FL to crash. It happened to me a long time ago. I would open an FL file and if I pressed the play button, it'd go crazy and crash (because I had too many cpu intensive instruments), and other time I did something weird and it kept causing an error.

All you can do is try to remove as much in the project as you can or start over.
